Happy Monday! So the (wonderful) lady who has been doing my manicures for the last 2 years is out for about 8 weeks so I’ve decided that this is a great time to give my nails a little break for gel manicures. I absolutely love the way my nails look and feel with gel polish, but without it, they feel fragile so I’m using these next 8 weeks to give my nails some TLC. Will I go back to gel nails…99% sure I will, but this will be a great break for them.
I had gotten rid of all of my nail polish since she’s been doing my nails so I did I bit of research and picked up a few things. The only nail care item I had was the CND Solar Oil. I love this oil for my cuticles; especially in the frigid temps we’ve been having here in Missouri! Besides, that here is what I picked up…

OPI Nail Envy This polish strengthens and protects nails against chipping, peeling, and splitting. Yes please!
CND Solar Oil Intense treatment for cuticles and strengthens nails. It has a wonderful almond oil scent too which I love!
Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover. Helps break down excess cuticles in just 15 seconds.
Olive & June Cuticle Pusher Gently pushes back cuticles without damaging them.
Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish and Top Coat Duo This is just one of the many color options they have in their Gel Couture line. It’s a pretty red shade with slight blue undertones and is labeled to have “gel-like wearability”. It didn’t last as long as a gel manicure would on my nails, but it lasted longer than “normal’ nail polish would.

I’m excited to try another color from Essie Couture Line…probably a milky white would be my first option. I’d love to hear what color you like!
Until next time,
